What’s the Goal?
Fancy a new focus by Monday?
Inspired by a chat with an incredibly talented professional this week, this is your reminder to have a think about your Goals - and consider, are they how you want them to be?
Any goals, or no goals, are completely fine, as long as that's intentional!
But what we realised in the conversation I mentioned is that this person got to where they are by excellent work, people helping them, & circumstances forcing change (remember 2020?!)
NOW though, they need to take charge of their own trajectory... yet they've never set their own goals, so they're waiting for some outside force to make the change... while their colleagues & peers are overtaking!! (ever seen that?)
We liked the metaphor that they've got the ferrari 🏎️, they know how to drive it brilliantly but have no idea where to, so they circling a track 😏
and in the meantime, colleagues in VWs 🚙 are heading off to exciting new levels 🙃
SO... your task for the weekend, if you choose to accept
✨have a think about whether you have a goal / destination in mind
and if it aligns with who and what you are now + who and what you want in the future 🎯
