The Hardest Part Of Senior Leadership

The hardest part of senior leadership that no one mentions?

Everyone assumes you've got your shit together.

Boards expect wisdom. Teams expect certainty. Your family expects you home for dinner.

But here's the thing we forget to discuss: the higher you climb, the fewer people ask how you're doing. Really doing.

Your resilience muscle gets built in weird ways. Like discovering you can run three board meetings, two crisis calls, and still remember to pick up milk.

Because resilience isn't about being unbreakable. It's about being ridiculously, impressively functional while everything's a bit bonkers. Again. And learning to laugh at the beautiful absurdity of it all.

What's one thing you're genuinely proud of achieving this week?
